Well, firstly we must apologise for the lack of any posts for a while.
Over the last 12 months, there has been quite a lot of goings-on. Whilst we have still been on various trips (around the UK & Europe in Mike, the motorhome, which we have simply not been giving a running commentary on), we have more importantly become a family of 3 humans.
Our little Atlas arrived in May 2017, and those with kids may appreciate, that in the early stages, life pretty much grinds to a halt, whilst everyone involved gets used to the new situation. For us as parents, this has meant just being around 24/7, with limited opportunity for much 'road time' (although at month 3, we did do a few weeks around Scotland, and we're pleased to say, Atlas passed with flying colours!)
However, this is now all changing, and we'll soon be back on our travels.
We sold Mike, and purchased an ex-mobility minibus that we are currently in the process of converting into our new motorhome. Named Midas. Our estimation is that come April, we should be back on the road. It's a slow process, when one can only dedicate a few hours a day to it, but it's definitely progress (make sure you follow our Instagram @hairventures for regular updates)
Our first trip will be a few months around Southern & Eastern Europe (Croatia, Turkey, etc) so we can straighten out any Midas kinks in a nice, warm, chilled environment.
So, all I can say is stick with us, and hopefully we'll soon be posting regularly again...
